Diego joins the Peace Corps to win back his ex-girlfriend. He imagines exotic locales, instead he finds himself "Lost in Moldova". The story is loosely based on the experience of former Peace Corps volunteer - John E. Lewis.
First episode: Arriving at his site at a small village in Moldova, Diego runs into a few hiccups in his settling in process.

it kinda gives me Cringes... Can't say that I relate to anything happening in both of episodes (didn't watch the 3th episode, because i dont think i could handle it). Everyone I know would be ultra nice to the foreigner, we will feed him until he will explode and keep him drunk for a week. Vegetarian? no problem, dude! here is a tomato, mâncare de post cât duce trenu. But maybe this is the true face of Moldavians, not the one they teach me at home... Judging by the likes and (positive feedback) I guess we are cold hearted b%tches and i-ots who don't give a damn about guests especially the foreign ones.

Ei. Aiştea încă îs burjui bogaţi, au tualetu din cotileţ de chiatră! La noi, la mîca la ţară, tualetu iera din scînduri putrede, casa răsîchită era din cotileţ făcut din pamînt cu paie şi cîcat di cal, da duşu iera plin de muşegai şi painjini mari, aşa că pe mine mă scăldau în ligean, şi în WC nişi hîrtie igienică nu iara, în loc hîrtie ierau nişte cărţi vechi sovetice, care ştergeu curu ca najdacika, şi amu ţin minte cum mă ustura curişorul meu şel nejnîi după dînsele!
