Basically viego (the guy with the sword) is looking for his wife which is Isolde. Her soul is trapped inside senna which is why u saw him rip her out of senna and at the end senna says “we have to go back for her”. He then released the mist which went everywhere in runeterra it seems. I can’t really explain why or how all the mist then went away since I didn’t get that part but viego was able to capture isolde (his wife, the spirit inside senna) and then it ends with views of all the characters shown in the cinematic. Knowing this and the fact that Lucian said “we can’t defeat him alone” this makes me think that there will probably be a featured game mode this season that revolves around everyone teaming up to take down viego. But this is just my speculation. I could be wrong . The featured game mode would probably be similar to “invasion” or the osdyssey one since there was a lore within those too. You can search them up on ROpost if you wanna see how they were played out.
